Can we disappoint God?

Can we disappoint God? I don't think that we can. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He didn't do a half-way job when He said, "It is finished." Praise the Lord!! Jesus knew that the life of condemnation under the law was OVER for those who would place their faith in His work on the cross. So, remember this…when you feel like a failure to the world around you, to your spouse, your children, your boss, your friends, or even yourself. When you feel like you've disappointed everyone around you…you are NOT a disappointment to God. He looks at His perfect Son, and THEN looks at you as His perfect child. You are fully loved!! Let go of the idea that God is out to find that one thing that you did wrong today…hold on to the idea that God's eyes light up and He smiles when you do that one thing that pleases Him today!! Praise the Lord! Hold on to these ideas when you feel down… And even more for the One Who truly loves you beyond what you or I can even imagine.
