Man, what a day. It has been such an incredibly long day. First, I overslept by like an hour- which pushed everything up an hour and made my whole morning rushed. Then Brad calls and tells me that his car won’t start. I think every car he has owned for the last 4 years has broken down. And the terrible thing is that he just got that truck not even a week ago! I just wish things could straighten out for him and we could figure out why his cars keep breaking down. But then again, God IS in control and he HAS ordained each situation in our lives and will use each for His honor and glory. It’s just hard to remember that when you are right in the middle of one. My statistics class is absolutely miserable. I just don’t understand it. It’s not like it is a hard class, because it’s not. My teacher just doesn’t know what he is talking about and the book had to have been written by rocket scientists and I AM FAILING. And now I can never transfer to Appalachian and become a teacher and my fate is now to live in Rutherford County for the rest of my life with my 90-something goats and chickens and drive a jacked up Ford. Again though, God is in control and I will be content wherever He wants me to be. Even if it’s here...well, I’ll try :) (For those of you who have lived here, you can understand)
On a brighter note, yesterday class was cancelled at ICC for Sport’s Day-a day where we just all hang out and have day of fun. Usually we have hamburgers and hot dogs, kareoke, and a (usually terrible) band. But this years was so....weird. I guess our SGA is trying to make our school cool maybe? Who knows, but we ate fajitas (I know, weird) for lunch and then we hung out on a cool obstacle course. Something new this year was a spinning ride where the little people holders spun around in a circle and then you could control how much your own holder spun. That AND fajitas was not a good idea. Bethany, Sloan and I all got on the little spinning ride after we ate lunch-mistake #1. Then we asked the guy who ran the ride to please not spin us in our little holder because we just wanted a nice and easy ride- mistake #2. Dude- he spun us around and around and around and around and around and around....I thought just the spinning was the ride! I’m like “Is it over?” But poor Bethany. Ok, I will admit it. It was so freakin’ funny!! Poor Bethany though- she got off that ride and puked! And then threw up three more times on the way home! I do have to admit that that has to be some pretty cool “war scars” from a spinning ride! Well, I think I am going to end tonight’s entry now since I am getting really tired-
Have a great night all- mere
