A major even just happened now...Finally, after almost a straight week of rain, the sun has come out from behind the foreboding clouds! I almost forgot what the sun even looked like- bright and warm and beautiful! Praise the Lord for sunshine! Praise the Lord for rain, too, but after a week of it, you kinda wanna see the sun again.
That reminds me of something that Brad said yesterday...we were at Hill’s Hardware buying some clamps for his truck, and the man at the register mentioned something about how dreary and rainy the weather has been. Brad said “You know, I’ve been wanting to see some sun myself. Both sons.” We all just looked at him like he was smoking crack! He says, “I’m waiting to see the sunshine, yeah, but I am also waiting to see the Son of God!” The guy was like, “Well, you shouldn’t rush it; He will come in His own time.” I was like, “Rush it?!” My spirit longs to see my Savior, and I feel like I can’t wait another day until I get to see Him face to face! Jesus is all I long for, hope for and live for-I’m gonna hope and pray everyday that Jesus return soon!!
